An hour later, 6 of the V.A.L. members gathered at the HQ in a meeting room.

'So we are all here,' said Jess.

'Not quite yet,' interrupt Selph. 'Wait a little longer.'

Within minutes the meeting door was banged opened. Then they saw a 6 feet tall muscular lady walked in. Wearing in brown tight suit, her brawny body showed clearly.

'Welcome our team mate,' said Selph. 'This is Arch, 1 of our initial members. 2 months ago, when she was scouting, she found an entrance to a labyrinth. We believed that it is connected to the demon's lair bottom. But the labyrinth was filled with deadly traps. Fortunately she was able to escape but wounded seriously.'

'I am sorry that I've been away recuperating for so long,' said Arch.

'It's ok,' said Star. 'It was great to have you recovered.'

'Things had gone seriously bad. I no longer can rest on my bed any further,' added Arch.

'Alright,' nodded Selph. 'This is the current situation. The demons had already risen from the underground and covered most part of the surface. There is only one way to save the world. It is to defeat the ruler of the demons from the underworld. ‘I've researched and came across a couple of handy information. During the past, the Valkyries eliminated the Demons single handedly all but 1 ultimate demon. They weren't any match against this potent demon. Instead they possessed Godlike weapons and finally defeated it. So if we have to face the ultimate demon we must possessed similar weapons. But it seems that we human don't acquire such skills or gears to create weapon alike nor close to Godlike. Hence the only way for us is to find and obtain those weapons from the Valkyrie themselves.'

'But that is impossible,' said Sher. 'The Valkyries had long gone and how are we suppose to obtain their weapons?'

'What I found out also was they did not destroy those arsenals. Instead they hide it deep inside a place no one could ever reach.'

Everyone was bewildered.

'And how are we suppose to find if no one know where or how to go?' asked Soul.

'I know,' replied Selph. 'This place is located to the north pole most isolated area. It was the home of the Valkyries themselves.'

'Now you get me shock,' said Jess. 'How did you find out?'

'It's all in our memory,' said Selph. 'When the time comes, you'll know too.'

Selph pressed a couple of built-in buttons on the meeting table. Then an image was projected in the middle of the round table. It is a map showing a part of the North Pole and there’s dot in the middle blinking.

'So what is this place called?' asked Soul.

'This home of Valkyries was called The Hall of Valhalla,' answered Selph.

Chapter 5 - Assembling

'Welcome back,' said Selph. 'It's been a year since you left.'

'Yes it is,' replied Star.

'Situation had changed.'

‘I’m aware of it. If not you wouldn't called me back.'

'Anyway I am glad you are back.'

'Your prediction was right. But still it is earlier than we expected.'

'So how was the progress going on?' asked Selph.

'We had provided bunkers and underground shelled cities for the entire world,' replied Star. 'But only capable to catered up to 80% of the world population.'

'How about the searching of Val units?' asked Selph.

'I've brought Soul and Jess with me. Excluding us, and in this country, we have discovered a total of 143.'

Star took out a mini size CD from her leather pouch and placed into the mainframe processing unit. Then a list of photos and data of every member were displaying on the screen.

'It means we have a total of 150 units now.'

'You found a new member other than Sher?' asked Star.

'Yes. We discovered her 2 weeks ago. Somehow I felt she possessed a very strong hidden power.'

'I see.'

'The surface is no longer safe for inhabitant. It's only a matter of time before they covered the entire surface and reach here too.'

As they were discussing, suddenly the speaker panel sounded.

'Good job everyone,' ordered Selph. ‘Get back at once. We have severe issue to confer.’
