I raced against time... but I lost.

'It looks like we are trapped in this area,' said Arch.

'Seems that we had been searching forever,' said Selph.

'All our equipment and compass does not work either,' said Star. 'Not even from the satellite scan. We don't even know how huge and deep this labyrinth is.'

'Don't worry, I have marked down all routes we had went through.' said Selph.

'Is there even a limit here?' asked Arch.

'Well, that's the point of labyrinth,' said Selph. 'It was built in the first place such a way to puzzle anyone who wishes to cross this threshold.'

'You are right about that,' said Arch.

For days they carefully proceed deeper into the labyrinth until they finally reach a heavy iron door guarded by two Specter demons.

‘Something valuable must be stored behind this armored door,’ said Star. ‘Maybe we should take a look.’

‘Specter aren’t easy opponent,’ said Arch. ‘I fought one before.’

‘Then leave this to me and Star,’ interrupted Selph as she stepped forward gracefully. Both of them walked through the dark corridor towards the gate.

As the Yeti came close, it stopped and gave a trembling roar which could send the deafening voice of it to miles away.

Sher charged forward with her facade spear pointing to the Yeti. The Yeti attempted to grab her spear. Before the spear made its way to penetrate the Yeti’s chest, it was clutched away. Sher endeavored to shake it of but she was instead tossed back.

The Yeti strived to break her spear into two when both its arm was suddenly pierced by two arrows as it dropped the spear onto the ground. Sher quickly recognized it was Soul who released the arrows.

At this time, five more Yeti appeared surrounding the group. Sher quickly dashed and took back her pole arm.

‘So there are all here,’ said Jess.

Jess and Soul each were facing with two Yetis on both sides. Coe looked on the back while Sher opposed the front one.’

In the middle of the heavy snowstorm, where Soul spotted a figurine, everyone prepared for the unsought convene, steadily stood on the soft white cushion like ground while awaiting its upcoming.

'Yeti,' shouted Sher in trepidation. ‘It had discerned us.’

A Mountain Yeti, a wild creature where could only be found in the rural area of high frozen ground. They were the mountain protector. It was told by the old folks since the ancient time when God was still ruling over the sacred land. These Yetis were thus place to protect the sacred land from any trespasser.

They usually move in a pack of 6 while on hunt for food or traversing. Feed mainly on any warm blooded creature they ever come across. Although they might lack intelligent but these fanatic creature possess tough hide and powerful paw.

‘This is not going to be easy,' said Jess. ‘And they usually move in a pack of 6.’

'That means they are five more nearby,' said Soul as she frowned her eyes.

‘If it’s only one, let me take care of it,’ said Sher as she stepped forward facing the 9 feet tall Yeti. She drew out her long silverish spear and pointed at her target.

While on the other side of the world, Selph, Arch and Star journeyed through an iron mining cave where Arch located previously. They reached to the entrance of the labyrinth from depth inside of a mining cave. The wall of the labyrinth was built purely with thick stones. Not even a catapult could bring damage to this robust wall. The labyrinth route was big enough for even a rhino to traverse. Fresh foot prints were seen cluttered clearly in the entrance. As they entered, they were warmly welcomed by the hideous Ghosts and Ghouls.

‘Be careful,’ reminded Arch. ‘This place is dangerous not because of them but the surrounding area filled with unforeseen traps.’

‘Leave that to me,’ said Star as she was the disarm trap expert.

'SHATTER by the name of Vexis!' shouted Arch as she swayed her gigantic hammer-axe weapon into Ghosts. Vexis was the name of the weapon itself.

'You are still as impressive as ever,' praised Star.

'I am nothing compare to you 2,' said Arch. 'But I can afford to take care of these soldiers, so you 2 could save strength against the higher ranks.'

Arch lifted up huge weapon as they saw the Ghosts disintegrated on the spot where she smashed them and continued to smash the others around. They proceed towards deeper of the labyrinth as Arch eliminated the Ghouls and Ghosts while Star disarmed traps they encountered.
